At Appletree Court we have the experience and training to know how to respond with empathy and are able to help our residents feel at ease, whilst gently stimulating thought processes with dedicated activities and a broad range of resources.
 

We understand how difficult it can be caring at home for someone living with the experience of dementia. Our aim is to make Appletree Court feel like home as quickly as possible. We take pride in getting to know everyone, creating a personal plan which takes consideration of individual care and nutrition and of likes and dislikes, helping everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable.
 

We consider it a privilege to share memories, experiences and stories we hear about life sometimes fifty or sixty years ago, often with amazing clarity like it was yesterday. We provide gentle prompts to help with short term memory loss and assist with re-making connections.
 

We seek to involve immediate family, relatives and friends, when deciding on the best care for each individual. Our dedicated team provide support and understanding for everyone trying to understand the effects that dementia can have on someone they are close to.
